Not all cats are born the same, but being different is never something anyone should feel bad about. Some cats are smaller than other, some are chonkier, some are healthy and some are sick, some are photogenic and some look like gremlins, and we love them all and think that they're all equally purrfect. In our time writing for ICanHas, we have seen everything from cats born with two noses, to cats born with four ears, all the way to cats born with strange lumps on their heads, and all we ever felt for these unique creatures is love.

So, to think that there is a cat out there in a shelter that gets made fun of by people? We cannot stand for that. And neither could the rest of the internet. Which is why Leonard, a cat that has tumors all over his face and has not only been overlooked but has been made fun of at the shelter… is now adopted.

We cannot even fathom the thought of someone seeing this cat - or any cat for that matter - and walking away snickering and whispering. Shameful behavior. Each and every one of those bullies… you better rethink your behavior, because the whole of cat twitter is now keeping an eye on you.

Adorable. Precious. The cutest cat. We hope, of course, that this kitty is now healthy and will remain healthy for as many years as possible, but as for the way that it looks… adorable and precious. Uniqueness is something to celebrate, not snicker about, and we stand by that in all contexts.
